Workshop labour guarantee:
All work performed by Sprocketman is covered by a 14-day guarantee. If, within this period, you aren’t completely satisfied with the quality of the service provided, or are experiencing ongoing issues with your bike (that were to be addressed as part of your service), we will happily return at an agreed time and rectify the problem completely free of charge. This includes the need for any small adjustments that may need to be made, such as adjusting cable tension after experiencing stretch etc.
Unless otherwise noted, all bikes and parts serviced or repaired by Sprocketman are thoroughly tested to identify faults. They are delivered back to the customer in a safe, working condition and are deemed fit for use at the time of delivery only.
A note on pre-ride checks:
To limit the possibility of problems occurring whilst riding, we suggest checking your bicycle before each and every ride, even if it has been recently serviced (whether by us or by any other bicycle mechanic), as things like cable tension or bumps in storage/transport can greatly affect a bikes ability to perform safely. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure their bike is in good condition before riding, and a simple check-over and test-ride in a safe area (checking for any issues with the quick-release mechanisms, brakes, drive-train, cockpit area and wheels etc.) should be performed regularly. If any component is suspected not to be working optimally, we suggest abandoning the ride and having the bike checked by a professional immediately.
Always install, repair, use and maintain any product in strict compliance with the product manufacturers’ instructions, as failure to do so may damage the product and increase the possibility of a serious accident.
